Updated: Sep 13, 2023

Sydney Ernstes, Managing Director of Delivery for BGSF, was named one of Nashville’s Top 30 Under 30 professional and philanthropic leaders for 2023. The annual list by the Tennessee Chapter of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation is a recognition program and philanthropic fundraising competition. This fundraising program highlights professionals under age 30 while benefiting the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation’s work to develop ways to control and cure the disease.

In response to this honor, Sydney stated,

“I am honored and surprised to be selected for 30 Under 30 Nashville. I am grateful for the opportunity to continue leveraging strong relationships in the Nashville community to raise awareness and support for Cystic Fibrosis research. I hope to represent my amazing employer, BGSF, who has supported my community involvement in the last five years, which has led to my selection. It has been an exciting several years filled with many amazing people and large endeavors. Let’s work together to make a positive impact on those affected by this disease.”

Nashville’s Top 30 Under 30 Program

Young professionals play a significant role in Nashville. The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation works to recognize these professionals making a name for themselves in their careers and helps them to grow into community leaders and influencers.

Honorees participate in a 16-week development program challenging themselves and growing their skill sets through a philanthropic competition raising funds for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.

Sydney will be honored at Nashville’s Top 30 Under 30 celebration gala at the Loveless Barn on Saturday, August 19, at 6 p.m. The event will feature a cocktail hour, dinner, and an awards program highlighting each honoree and their impact on the CFF’s mission to cure cystic fibrosis. Nashville’s Top 30 Under 30 began in 2009 by the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation’s Tennessee Chapter to honor young professionals growing in their careers, engage them in community service, and train them to make the most significant impact possible for our community. We are so excited to support Sydney on this journey and are thrilled to see the positive impact she is making in the Nashville community.

Nashville Emerging Leader Awards

Sydney was also named a finalist in the Technology category in the Nashville Emerging Leader Awards (NELAs), presented annually by the Nashville Area Chamber and YP Nashville.

The NELAs recognize Nashville area young professionals ages 21-40 across fourteen industries for significant accomplishments in their chosen career fields, as well as their commitment and contribution to the Nashville community. Four finalists are selected for each of the fourteen industries represented. Judges for each industry are leaders from their respective fields.
