  • Upskilling my career earned the majority of votes at 53%.

  • Building relationships was second with 24% of the votes.

  • Planning for Q4 was third with 15% of the votes.

  • Finalizing Q3 goals was fourth with 9% of the votes.

Analyzing the Results

The poll results revealed that more than half of our respondents are actively pursuing further skills development in their careers via upskilling! This comes as no surprise, considering that 77% of survey respondents believe that upskilling will become either more important or much more important over the next two years, according to research from Bridge, an e-learning provider.

Building relationships was also a priority for 24% of our respondents. Building connections through various touchpoints with your team members, clients, and consultants is an investment worth prioritizing. In fact, according to Superoffice.com, 86% of customers claim that their experience is just as important as a product or service, demonstrating the value of the return on relationships!

Planning for Q4 and Finalizing Q3 goals came in with the lowest numbers at 15% and 9%. This could be because our respondents created broad 2024 goals with small achievable action steps throughout the year! We recommend that you regularly plan, revise, and assess your goals at least every quarter to track your progress and celebrate your wins!

At BGSF, we encourage our team members to boldly tackle their personal and professional priorities! See how much you can accomplish between now and the end of the year by making a plan and being accountable to yourself.
