Washington, DC, August 9, 2023— BGSF today announced that Talent Acquisition Manager, Natasha Davis, has been awarded a Women in Leadership Scholarship by the American Staffing Association.

Natasha transitioned into the Staffing industry at the end of 2021. With a passion for people and a knack for finding the perfect fit, she has made it her mission to bring together awesome candidates and fantastic job opportunities. When she is not diving headfirst into resumes and interviews, you can catch her sipping on a strong cup of coffee while jamming to some classic tunes. She believes in the power of a well-coordinated team and the magic that happens when the right person lands in the right role.

Outside the office, you will find Natasha playing with her three-and-a-half-year-old Dobie, Oscar, and finding new restaurants with her husband, Leslie, especially being new to the DFW area. There are SO many options!

Established in 2020, the Women in Leadership Scholarship program honors rising stars who show exemplary professional growth potential and a commitment to a career in the staffing and recruiting industry. Natasha is one of just eight awardees chosen from across the country. This year, the scholarship program fielded the largest number of applications in its history.

“The Women in Leadership scholarship program empowers and supports talented women, fostering their development as future leaders,” said Lenore Convery, chair of the ASA Women in Leadership Scholarship program task force. “Congratulations to Natasha Davis, and we look forward to welcoming them in Charlotte.”

Each recipient will attend two ASA events at no charge: THRIVE Live, Oct. 2-3, and Staffing World® 2023, Oct. 3-5. Both events are taking place at the Charlotte Convention Center.

These scholarships are made possible with the support of Women in Leadership interest group sponsors, with special recognition to the 2022 Women in Leadership scholarship winners, Joanie Bily, author of Dive In D.E.E.P., the authors of Together We Rise, and additional other donors who have supported this program. Generous proceeds from Dive In D.E.E.P. and Together We Rise book sales supported additional scholarships this year.
